Had really lovely stay on vacation, the staff were knowledgeable, location was magnificent in the Centre of Paphos. The breakfast looked savoury, with a gorgeous view, unfortunately we didn't have time and didn't try it.

Solo traveler, A solid choice
The hotel is lovely, I was blown away by the cleanliness! The breakfast really stood out, it was delicious with plenty of options to kickstart my day.
It wasn't inexpensive but you know, it was still reasonable considering the quality.

We had to attend a wedding in Paphos so we were looking for a cheap place to spend the night, nothing fancy. Axiothea Hotel was better than we expected. It is an old building from the outside, but it was much better inside. The room was clean and in good condition, the owner was very friendly. We were upgraded to sea-view room free of charge, even though we didn't book one. For the price, it was great and it was indeed value for money.

The room had a beautiful view of Paphos Bay, a real treat every morning. I appreciated the cleanliness of the space. Everything felt meticulously maintained. The breakfast selection amazed me. There was a variety of hot and cold options, including local delicacies. The staff made a huge difference too. They were always ready to assist with a smile. The noise from the street was noticeable at times, especially from modified cars and motorcycles, which disrupted the peaceful vibes at night. I also encountered a bit of a delay in replenishing breakfast items on the buffet, disappointing during busy hours. These minor inconveniences didn't overshadow my experience, though. I feel like the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.

Andreas the owner went beyond the call of duty to anticipate and exceed our requirements. Very good breakfast. Fantastic views over Paphos to the sea. Good location for shops, market and old town. Good bus service to harbour and tourist area.
No evening restaurant in hotel. Low water pressure.

Super location, panoramic views, charismatic, delightful owner/manager, pleasant communal spaces/rooms
Was as described and as we anticipated but the room decor/facilities are very tired and antiquated, wouldn't stop us returning

The very nice sea view from my room created a picturesque backdrop, upgraded with the cozy ambiance. The variety in the buffet breakfast, especially the hot sandwiches, was a delicious start to each day. Although the location was not within walking distance to the beaches, its closeness to the old town added character to the stay. There were, however, a few instances of noise disturbances in the evenings, affecting relaxation, and limited activities for families with kids.

This is no luxury hotel but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel proprietor was always on call and could not have been more helpful. Would have no hesitation in returning. Excellent budget hotel in the older, shopping/commercial, part of Paphos. The sea, the cafes, restaurants and all the tourist shops and some 2km away with a regular bus service close by. However, if the weather is fine and dry (as it usually is in Cyprus) it makes a pleasant walk back after an evening out. Only down side is the 66 steps from the main road up to the hotel. But after a relaxing week here, trust me, it gets easier as the week goes on!
